Venlo, 13 July 2021 – Office Depot Europe, known by their Viking Trademark, is today announcing it is transferring all its HR processes to Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM). The European expert in workplace solutions decided to replace their current HR system by digitizing their complete hire to retire cycle, including Learning, Talent Management and Recruitment with Oracle HCM. In the future, all HR topics will be accessible via a central access point for employees, managers, and HR staff. The main drivers for the digital HR transformation at Office Depot Europe were cost efficiency and standardization.

Oracle Cloud HCM is part of the existing ERP environment of Office Depot Europe. Having both HCM and ERP within one platform and data model, takes away the need for expensive customized integrations. The implementation of Oracle Cloud HCM makes an important contribution to the IT strategy of Office Depot Europe, consolidating their IT infrastructure, standardization and saving costs.

One seamless employee experience
While Office Depot Europe enables their customers in creating great workplaces, Oracle Cloud HCM will enable them in fostering a seamless and consistent employee and user experience. This means employees will have the exact same user experience for HCM, as they are currently accustomed within their Oracle Finance solution and aligning with the future rollout of Oracle Cloud for Order management and Finance to the rest of EU7.
